It was great to support the British Thyroid Foundation by running the London marathon in the same year my daughter had her Thyroid out.

 My daughter Claudia, who is just about to turn 21 and graduate from Cardiff University, has been successfully managing an over active Thyroid since being a young girl.

She has really benefited from all of the support and information provided by BTF and she is great example of living an empowered life even with her Thyroid condition.
