Well, I'm writing this the Monday after the event... What a day, what an experience, what a challenge! 17 weeks of training, 15 of which I was working my first full-time job, coupled with a decent length commute and I didn't drop any of my tennis either 🤣

Honestly, it was way, way, harder than I expected it to be. The alleged 600m elevation gain turned into 700, and all of that elevation was basically compressed into a demonic handful of very long and steep inclines 😂

For the first 21.1K, I felt like I was flying, I managed to stick to my target pace of 06:00 - 06:45/km fairly well. But then hit the wall at 30K...

Everything hurt like hell, and it felt like I had two concrete blocks strapped to my feet. Everytime I stopped running, the pain just got worse 😂 especially in my legs, but I knew I just had to grit my teeth and push through it.

Other than that, great race, great day! My legs at the end were absolutely smashed to pieces - never been so exhausted in my life!  And finally, thank you to everyone who donated - so very much appreciated! And thank you to everyone who's been following along for the journey :))

Nothing else booked in for now, but who knows what the future may hold 😉

Thanks for all your support,

 Best wishes, Harry :)
