I'm running for my Dad who is living with thyroid eye disease and chronic pain. He has had to stop working, driving and countless other hobbies and pursuits that make him who he is. Despite amazing support from his doctors, his condition hasn't improved 2 years on from the first time his thyroid became overactive. I want to run for him, to show how proud I am of how he has dealt with this horrible chapter of his life and to raise money for a charity that can make a difference to those who are suffering in a similar way.
